Vetplan, health plans for pets
Vetplan consists of a series of innovative products in the field of veterinary medicine designed by animal health professionals to ensure your pet is better protected against any potential illness or disease.
Thanks to its flexibility with different coverage levels tailored to your needs and its focus on prevention as a means of keeping our pets healthier and disease-free, Vetplan has become the most widely implemented animal health plan across Spain.
With Vetplan, your pet can enjoy three levels of veterinary coverage:
With Vetplan Basic, you and your pet will always feel like “VIP” clients, because it includes:
- Rabies vaccination: The necessary vaccinations against rabies.
- Additional vaccinations: Essential vaccinations to prevent the most common viral and bacterial diseases in our region, including Leptospirosis (transmissible to humans), Canine Distemper, Canine Viral Hepatitis, and Canine Parvovirus, or in the case of cats, protection against Calicivirus, Rhinotracheitis, Panleukopenia, and Feline Leukemia.
- Internal deworming: Quarterly treatments at your associated veterinary center to prevent the most common intestinal parasites, including the prevention of echinococcosis, a disease transmissible to humans.
- External deworming: Monthly treatments at your associated veterinary center to prevent fleas and ticks, thereby also preventing diseases transmitted by these parasites.
- Annual check-up: Includes an annual veterinary check-up for your pet, along with a blood test to monitor key hematological and biochemical parameters for the early detection of potential health issues.
- Unlimited veterinary consultations: During the contract’s validity period, consultations are offered at a special rate of only €10 per visit. An appointment must be scheduled in advance at your center. (Specialist consultations and consultations during emergency hours are not included in this price.)
With Vetplan Plus, you and your pet will always feel like “VIP” clients, because it includes:

Diagnostic tests without sedation.
- Simple radiology (single positioning)
- Abdominal ultrasound (basic)
- Electrocardiogram
- Basic ophthalmologic examination
- Basic otic examination
- Standard complete blood count (CBC)
- Biochemical profile (up to 7 common biochemical parameters)
- Common immunological tests (Canine Leishmaniasis, Canine Heartworm Disease, Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Coronavirus, Canine Ehrlichiosis, Giardiasis, Feline Immunodeficiency, and Feline Leukemia)
- Skin scraping for microscopic analysis and fungal culture
- Urinalysis using diagnostic strips (up to 9 parameters)
- Vaginal cytology
- Skin biopsies for submission to pathology laboratories (external lab costs not included)
- Simple aspirations for microscopic analysis
Sedation required due to the pet’s condition is not included. For other tests, please request a prior quote.

Sedation required due to the pet’s condition is not included. For other procedures, please request a prior quote.
A waiting period of 5 months applies to all surgeries. The price includes anesthesia, medication, and discharge consultation.
